Tracey, Good morning I hope that you are well. I am just writing regarding The Hype who played at our wedding on 13th August 2011. We intended to get in touch sooner but it has been a busy few weeks. We just wanted to say how pleased we were with the band on the day. They were everything that we wanted and more and they really did a great job of getting everybody up on the dancefloor. The acoustic set that the lead singer played during the wedding breakfast was also incredible and a number of guests commented on how nice that was to listen to in the background. In general though a lot of our guests told us how much they liked the band. They were also very polite and really gave the impression that they wanted to be there. The only complaint I have is that too many women guests came up to me and said how much they fancied all of the band!! A few even said that they thought that they had met their future husbands!!! In all seriousness though we are delighted that we used the hype for our wedding and I would also like to thank you as well as I found it very easy to deal with you and Warble Entertainment.

We probably weren't the best audience as we were scattered around the room they performed in and outside in the bar area but everyone was talking about the performance around typical wedding conversations. Hi Matt, we are so pleased we had The Hype play at our wedding. They were a massive part of making our day so special. Not only were they perfect for us, but they were a huge hit with our guests. Everybody that was there that night commented on how great they were and they were a friendly bunch of guys to deal with. We had to delay the set for a 10pm start because of our situation of being above a bistro but they were happy to do so and played a straight 2hr set with only a small 5min break inbetween! Yourself and Sam that I dealt with were very quick to responed to any queries I had so that was great. Booking arrangements were straight forward too so thumbs up all round. Hi Matt, Thanks for this, sorry for the delay in responding, what with the honeymoon and traveling back to Dubai there has been a lot going on since the wedding, including me needing an operation on my back! Not the best way to start married life, but I seem to be making a quick recovery so it is not too bad. Anyway, what can I say? The Hype were completely amazing and everybody had a fantastic time. I am still getting comments from people who were blown away by the band. The choice of band and the style of music was a very important decision for us as we knew how important it would be to make the evening a memorable and enjoyable time for both us and our guests. We also knew that there would be a good few musos among our guests who would be particularly interested in our choice of band. I have to say that your recommendation of The Hype was spot on and the guys themselves were incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating and of course they sounded amazing with a perfectly pitched set list. They even allowed me to get up on stage and do a song myself and they were very encouraging and supportive about it too! I think the biggest compliment given to the band, however, would be that my father-in-law hardly ever left the dance floor all night and the sight of him dancing to "I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor" was certainly one of the highlights of the day for my wife and me! The only few hitches were concerning some of the venue staff and how they dealt with the band. We were told by the venue, when booking the band, that they could not set up and sound check after a certain time, so we asked the band to do an early start which they did at no extra cost. It turned out that when they got there early, they couldn't gain access to the venue at the time we had arranged. They were not shown the room that we had arranged for them and were, understandably, concerned that there would not be any food or drinks supplied for them as this wasn't explained to them by whoever greeted them when they got arrived. It is a shame because it was very important to us that the band were looked after and happy and I had doubled and triple checked with the venue that they would have their own room and a hot meal and unlimited soft drinks, but this information was not passed on to them by the venue until I arrived much later after the wedding itself. They did get access to the room and the meal and drinks, but I would like to apologise to the band if they felt at all neglected, it certainly went against our intentions and we were very upset with some of the venue staff when we found out about this. Of course, the band were very gracious and good about the access problems, but it must have been annoying for them and if the venue had given us the correct information then there wouldn't have been a problem. But I suppose these things happen and it is a credit to the band that they handled these initial problems with good humour and a professional attitude. Thanks again for recommending the band and for sorting out all the details on our behalf. It was quite a challenge for us to arrange our wedding from overseas but you really helped take the stress out of it and were very helpful. We are so glad we found Warble! All the best and please pass on our best wishes to The Hype.

Hi all – a year ago tomorrow “The Hype” played our Wedding/Birthday/Halloween party at Bradley House in Wiltshire. It has taken me ages to get round to leaving a comment, but feel that they deserve one. They were extremely accommodating and created a set list that suited the type of sound we were hoping for. They even learned a song by a band my wife and I like that not everyone will be familiar with, New Model Army. They were extremely lively and enthusiastic and sounded great. They created a wonderful atmosphere. If you are after the type of songs they offer, I would recommend this band to anyone. We would definitely consider them again if occasion called for a live band. Just looking for an excuse. Thank you for helping to make our celebration party day such a success.

Hi Matt, We only have praise for The Hype, they were brilliant. The version of 'Truly, madly, deeply' they put together for us was superb and if they did have a recording of it we would love to have a version. So many guests commented about how good they were, the dance floor remained full for the whole evening, a real testament given they started at 10pm. Hi Matt, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, we have only just got back from our honeymoon! Just wanted to to say a HUGE thanks for helping us to find The Hype to play at our wedding! They were outstanding! My main worry in all of the wedding planning was that the dance floor would be empty and that the evening reception would be a bit of a disappointment. There was no chance of that though, and I'm sure that it was all down to the band. They had such amazing energy, were so friendly and completly professional. They didn't mind when I (the bride) and some friends stormed the stage to take over the mic for a number of songs! Fortunately I think they were quick enough to mute our mic, and left Rob to do the singing, but they happily left us to hold the mic regardless! One of the top memories of the night was when bride and groom took to the mic to sing the whole of 'Sex on Fire', we will always remember that! All of our guests were asking where we found them and who they were, everyone was very impressed. Nobody wanted the night to end and the guys were really patient with us and did respond to the endless shouts for MORE! All of the staff at the venue commented that they had never seen such a lively evening do! If anyone wants to be sure the dancefloor is packed all night I would HIGHLY recommend The Hype. Hi Tracey, I would just like to sat a massive thank you to your agency and the Guys for making it a night to remember! The lads were really professional in their dealings with my team and our guests loved them. On the night we had over 240 people in attendance and our guests completed comment forms after the event, many of which described The Hype as 'AWESOME' and 'Excellent'. We had a range of entertainment on the night but the Hype was definitely one of the highlights! Hi Jon, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you so much for your fantastic performance on Friday night. Everyone absolutely loved it! I was very impressed with your professionalism and the way in which you interacted with my team throughout the night. I hope you guys found us to be okay to deal with, apologies for not getting to thank you personally at the end of the night. The guy who collapsed on the stairs in fine thank God, I think it was a mixture of too much drink and that he sustained some sort of sports injury recently, thanks for your help when it happened! I will indeed be dropping Warble an e-mail about your performance soon, probably this evening as I have a few meetings now. All positive of course. My term as President comes to an end in the next few weeks but I will definitely hold on to your contact details for future events that I may be involved in. Hi Matt, Sorry for the delay in my reply, we have just returned from our honeymoon. The Hype played at our wedding on October 18th at Leasowe Castle. What can I say about The Hype?! well they left me speechless, literally!!!! I'd be singing along all night that I did in fact lose my voice. They were brilliant, they kept the dance floor busy all night, everyone had a fantastic time and a lot of guests were very impressed with the band, they played a good mix of music to suit everyone and had an abundance of energy and talent. They were very professional lads. I'd like to recommend the Hype to anyone planning a party, the guys are great! Thanks guys for adding too what was the best day of our lives so far, we wish you continued success and we will definitely let you know if we have another party.

Hi Matt, The Hype were awesome!!! A terrific bunch of guys who were superb musicians and very accommodating - nothing seemed to much trouble for them - very unassuming and polite. Everyone at the party thought they were brilliant. I would highly recommend them for any occasion as they were complete professionals and I really appreciated the phone call to say they were caught up in traffic on the motorway and may not arrive on time - that said they were just 10 mins behind schedule which given the distance they travelled for us was nothing. Hi Tracey, Thanks very much for the email. It must be said that the Hype were absolutely superb and really made the party for me and all guests. We were probably a little more 'interactive' with the band than should have been in the second half but the band were great. The music was great varied and every song played perfect to the original but with energy and a nice slant - they added there own style. In fact a friend of mine who was here wanted to book them for his wedding there and then (unfortunately the guys were busy). The guys were extremely polite and professional and genuinely nice guys. My own negative comment is that they are too good looking and nearly stole our girlfriends!! (hehe). Please make sure this gets through to them all with a massive thanks. Morning Matt. What can I say? The guys were FANTASTIC! Honestly, we had so many people come up to us to ask where we found them. The boys were polite, courteous, discreet when setting up, and really really nice guys. They played phenomenally well, we were absolutely blown away, they sounded incredible and I’ve never seen our friends and family hit the dancefloor with such gusto – the guys got the place rocking and had exactly the right balance of music at the right time. They sounded amazing, can really sing – why haven’t they been signed up for a label????? Definitely a boy band for the future it was a pleasure to have them part of our wedding. Even their rapport in between songs / requests etc, was spot on – they are so confident, and they had taken so much time and effort before the wedding to rehearse new songs and ideas (ie the hokey kokey, which went down a storm after copious bottles of vino!). We would get Hype along every time; they are a huge credit to your agency, Matt. Please pass on our note of thanks.
